U.S. Open rundown for us

Well first off I was ask in another thread about Zachary he did not medal but had an good fight in the 14 - 17 year old division, he is fighting again on Sunday in the 18 - 32 year old division.

My middle son Caleb fought his first fight ever in the 14 - 17 year old division and was put up against the teenager from Peurto Rico name Arrayo and he also won the gold at this year US Open under 45 kg, Caleb has a G2 concussion and has to sit out for thirty days but he stood in there giving 18 poundas and about 5 inches in hieght.

Everybody else fights on Monday and will post video's and results during the week.

Kym made it to the quarter finals. Beat the Mexican B team member and lost to mexican A team member. Strong showing in the Sr Division.

Charlie first shot at the 14-17 year old division. Won 2 fights lost in the quarter finals.

First fight beat Austrailia 3-1 Jr Team Member from Victoria

2ND fight won 3-1. Almost KO'd the kid with a high round house axe kick combo

Third fight lost to a boy from Texas GT Sport. Good showing for a 13 year old in 14-17.

There was a team from Victoria....Headed by a female 1988 Olympian from Australia...looked
like they brought about 25 athletes...good group

Youp, we are strong warriors, in fact one lady (Ollin Yolitzi) and one guy brought to my city two gold medals in poomsae, I got this new from a local newspaper.
