I wonder if you have heard of tsunami karate, it was developed by a man called Murat (7th kyu in shotokan )

I wonder if it has spread outside Poland as well...

There is a Tsunami Karate school in Crescent City, California. This school says it teaches Kenpo, not Shotokan; I am unsure if there is any relationship between the one you asked and the California school. It is possible the similarity may be in name only, not with the style taught.
