Came across this video and watched it... found myself really fascinated and I think you all may feel the same way.
The only flaw in the video was the lack of a year-counter which would've helped IMO, give a better perspective when these changes in geographical lines took place. The only really recognizable and significant change (for me anyway) was the WWII and how Germany had nearly the whole of Europe. What also surprised me was just how large the Hungarian and Polish Empires were at one time.
Not too surprising the only place that really didn't change (much) was England/UK
