NEW YORK — It'll be a show of force to keep a cop killer behind bars.

About 40 relatives of an NYPD officer gunned down in the line of duty reportedly flooded a parole office in Manhattan to lobby for the heartless shooter to stay locked up, The Post has learned.

"This man should remain incarcerated for the rest of his life!" said Noreen Keegan-Connelly, 42, the niece of Police Officer Joseph Keegan.

"There is no forgiving evil. He should not be let out - ever."

On June 19, 1980, Keegan, 41, spotted Bruce Lorick, 22, trying to evade paying a fare in the 59th Street/Columbus Circle subway station. Keegan tried to eject him, but Lorick grabbed the cop's gun and shot him in the head before fleeing into Central Park.

Lorick, now at Sing Sing, was sentenced to 25 years to life and will appear before a parole board during the week of Feb. 21 for his fourth such bid for freedom.

I agree....keep his *** locked up. IMO, if he isn't already, he should be locked in a cell 23 out of 24hrs a day, coming out for 1hr to shower, phone call, etc., but otherwise, you eat, sleep and **** in your cell!

Does this sound heartless and cold? Sure, to the bleeding hearts, I'm sure it does, but my theory is "dont do the crime if ya cant do the time!!!" Prison shouldn't be club med, it should be a place in which after time is served, you dont want to come back.

Hopefully the dirtbag will not be granted any freedom.

Certain criminal convictions should carry an automatic penalty of the rest of your natural life behind bars. Killing a police officer, killing a child, and killing the elderly come to mind straight away.

If you’re a drug dealer in prison for killing the competition, you get yourself a good education, act responsibly towards the authorities and other inmates, then in 25 maybe we can talk.

Regardless each case needs to be dealt with on a case by case basis.
