Texas Tournaments

I'm looking for some tournaments in Texas to participate in. I am, only, looking for Tournaments using WTF sparring rules.

1. Do any of you have any favorite tournaments you can recommend?

2. Where can I go to find a list of all tournaments? Surely, there is one website that publishes a list.

Any help would be appreciated.

Tang Soo Do, Merit will be awarded on the basis of; beauty, balance, Grace, rhythm, focus,

SPARRING;​

The Gap and Cap rule will be applied. Gaining a 7-point lead or When

declared.NOTE!. Children 11 years old and under First round will be guaranteed (no

EQUIPMENT. All contestants must wear a clean uniform. protective arm guard and shin
guards made of foam rubber or vinil covered, protective cup, chest guards, mouth pc. Groin
cup, head gear. All is required. Head gears must not have face shields of any kind.

WEAPONS Forms kum do, etcetera​

1.​

PROCEDURE - (same as tkd.forms) 2. SPECIFICATIONS - Weapons must
be authentic to martial arts and must be protected from sharpness.
3. STYLE - Only the following weapons will be allowed:​

Kai (oar), kama (no rope), katana / kum / boken, long bo, naginata,
nunchaku, sai, tonfa.​

Each weapon has specific size and weight.​

EXAMPLE​

- Long Bo: Construction - Must be hardwood, unadorned Length -
Must be at least the height of the player and can be to a maximum of four (4)
inches taller than the player.
4. if,WEAPON BREAKS - The player has five (5) minutes to replace it with the
same or a different weapon or can complete the form with the broken
weapon without penalty.​

SELF DEFENSE​

2. PROPS - Only people and weapons can be used as props. No other props, music or skit dialogue.
3. TIME LIMIT - Up to three (3) minutes per performance is allowed from the time the player enters the

This is a little ways off, but the USAT Nationals are going to be in Austin, June 30th-July 5th. Depending on what age category etc. you may have to qualify at state-level events to compete.
