Telling on yourself without knowing?

Lots of phones, especially cell phones, geotag pictures. Many of them do it automatically if it is not turned off. In fact, a lot of cell phones and apps share your location if you don't tell them not to do so.

I guess if I am calling on the phone, I don't mind.

But - like in the story - you take a non-descript picture of a whachamacallit and your location pops up I don't find that too cool. Especially when there are kids involved.
(you think you do everything right and still screw up)


It could to know how you can disable those features.
(I heard that new cameras - not phones - could have the GPS feature as well)
