What preposition? "Is" is a verb.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word "is" is. If the –if he –
if "is" means is and never has been, that is not--- that is one thing.
If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement."

:) When we do "blindfolded" training, we wear our sparring helmuts on backwards. I make students testing for 2nd dan do Koryo "blindfolded" so we can see whether they go up and down the lines straight and how good their balance really is. (sorry to end the sentence with a "preposition" :(

Sounds like a good idea. Anyway, I'd still love to know how you finish on the same spot ;-)

BTW, I'm just Miles or Peter....just another student. :)

It's weird, I'm used to calling my instructor Carl (he prefers it to Master Lees) but I still refer to him as Master Lees in front of new/potential students. I guess it's the same here, if we met in person and you said "just call me Miles or Peter" I'd be fine with it, but as I don't know you (yet) it just feels weird - I still get Master Miles come to my tongue way before Miles or Peter is even considered. If there's a smiley for "slap", feel free to use it if I slip in future ;-)
