Yeah it is really smooth! One thing I really like about Silat and all Southeast Asian martial systems in the lower leg work. From leg destructions to sweeps, etc. I enjoy the fact that if you are skilled with them they work very well regardless of your age.

In what ways? His movement, or are we talking the effects of time?
 
When I first saw him in a video my instructor had, before Silat had become so well known, he was a skinny teenager. Now he is a full grown man...it is interesting to see someone change like that. Normally, you only see these great martial artists when they are well known and fully a martial arts personality. No one remembers Ueshiba as a gangly teenager, or Jigaro Kano as a little kid learning Judo. I guess it is the advantage of being in the age of universal access to video.
