Ok.. here's a few..
When we left Sunday evening.. the sheathing was going on~! *Goose and Crystal stayed later to pick up some hours and hopefully they got it done~! *
It was a rough weekend for sure.. Seig and I spent all morning under the house fixing issues that our last trainer left us high n' dry on.. He (Brian, now gone, had us butting the joists ..) So Seig got to finally get out his nailer and we 'scabbed' the joists where butted with 2x10's and that was rough.. as tis a 6 block crawlspace~! Then whilst I built interior walls in the afternoon.. Seig and a few others were under jacking up the house.. and adding more center beams ... Thank goodness we know now what Not to do.. so there won't be any need for scabbing and jacking the other houses~!
Windows are in And it's now looking like a real house~!
Interior walls have been started but after 2 long HOT days we called it quits at 6:30 and headed home.
the 3rd house is ready for exterior walls.. and luckily Crystal has a family crew coming in this week and they should have them raised and ready for trussing this weekend.
4th house has finally gotten it's footers.. and if all goes well the foundation will be laid and we can start on that deck.. when all 4 are done in our development.. we shall move onto the other development and start on those 4.
We do have a New Construction trainer.. and will be meeting him Friday.. tis one of our teammates Brothers so this is good
Our house with the pretty green shingles (which I shingled btw )
The interior we finished drywalling Sunday night, now to get the siding on.
Sunday before we finished drywalling.
Angela's house, exterior done. Now to get framing inspection and we can insulate and drywall.
Shamika's house which Angela and I just finished the shingling on Sat. (white shingles.. ohhh not fun to do~!)
Siding left to do on hers and then to start inside work.
4 houses have been sided.. 2 drywalled.. we're getting there~!! We lucked out in not having to build the 8th house. (person dropped from the program)
Newest shots of our house
Interior painting is done.. Everything is white for the moment til we move in and I get to go wild with color
Just have a couple door backs to finish off. Kitchen shots didn't turn out.. but the bathroom, kitchen flooring is in.
Still have to put up columns on front porch, wrap the beam and last pair of shutters on front window.
Electricians will be in shortly to install lighting, carpets will be laid, and then cabinets will be hung by us.
We have 2 storage sheds to build and our Finish date is end of Feb. No move in date yet..
