It had to be done .
But always remember, the cake is a lie!
Internet bonus points to anyone who knows the unpleasantly salacious roots of that phrase ...
No takers on the origins of the phrase "The cake is a lie"? I am disappointed ... unless it means that the Net savvy membership here know their Net history pretty well already?
For EH and the edification of all readers, "The Cake is A Lie" was the phrase that grew as a response to an unpleasant spate of 'spam' in the ancient days when the Net was still a-birthing. Messages would arrive in peoples in-boxes, phrased in various ways but all along the lines of that if the recipient were to open a link there would be 'cake', the inference being some rather 'tasty' imagery of unclad ladies. This spoof would open a massive image, taking an age to download in these low bandwidth days, of a hugely obese woman in a bath or some-such non-aesthetic thing.
Can't please everyone Omar, but I thought it was pretty dang cool... considering I've never heard/saw/played the game... wasn't sure what I was watching at first but by 2 minutes in... it didn't matter... at least for me anyway... However, I'll be more specific on my topics in the future.The topic didn't deliver on what was promised. But then, I hate video games.
Also, I saw that vid a week ago, topic titles should be more specific so I didn't have to click on that again.
Well you could have used the term "video game" instead of sci-fi in the topic. Or both. Video games don't do a thing for me.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I shall keep that bit of knowledge from my portal addict for the time being!
well, it's not a game, it a short...
(what do you mean video games do nothing fr you?!)
{Whispers} He means he's not very good at them ... :lol:{/whisper}
Oh eck! He's standing right here! .
I sometimes wish that I didn't get into video games so much, I do confess. LOTRO in particular is a HUGE time-sink and has really cut into my reading hours.
