LA's a pretty large place, and it happens to be saturated with martial arts schools, good and bad. We al need more info. to help you out. Which part of LA is closest to where you live? And what kinds of things specifically are you looking for in martial arts?

yep as was alreadysaid where exactly do you live. More info needed

there is a really good Kajukenbo school in Inglewood at 209 N. La brea Ave the phone number was 213 672 1578 when I was last in the area (it may have changed)
I'm not sure if Al Williams is still there but he was one of the top competitors on the tournament curcit for many years, plus a damn good person.
There a a few good schools in Long Beach also

You need to visit whatever school or schools you decide on and take a good long look at what they offer. Don't be afraid of asking questions about how they train and on any topic that fits what you want out of a school

One of the Gracie acadamies is in Torrence. Ralph Gracie's I think.

Dude pick up the Yellow Pages...

This guy is very good. he is one of Mr. Bob Whites students www.powerofoneselfdefenseinstitute.com
there is also a guy name mit or mats yamashita in long beach used to be on south street but I think he moved. Good Harawang do school in downey also. Some good kickboxing schools there in Long Beach. Look for the ones taught by the cambodians they used to have some real good fighters back in the day
