Recent Misspeaks or Sinister Slips?

I recently heard this argument broadcast on a local radio show. I have paraphrased it so that we could discuss it.

President Bush said, "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Senator Kerry said, "We will double our special forces to conduct terrorist operations."

Both of these were said within two weeks of one another. Is this a coincidence or is this something Americans should look into? Both of these statements are vaugely disturbing considering the history of our government.

Are these statements sinister slips or simple misspeaks? Why do you think so?

Well....at least they are both being honest.....

If that is the case, then both candidates threatened my family. Should I just kick back and ignore that?

Maybe we can get the US to invade and overthrow them? Afterall, one of them commands a large army with known weapons of mass destruction and a history of civil rights abuses....while the other looks like Herman Munster.

Certainly either is cause for attack.
