I recently heard this argument broadcast on a local radio show. I have paraphrased it so that we could discuss it.
President Bush said, "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."
Senator Kerry said, "We will double our special forces to conduct terrorist operations."
Both of these were said within two weeks of one another. Is this a coincidence or is this something Americans should look into? Both of these statements are vaugely disturbing considering the history of our government.
