Kinda sounds like a philosophy
That is a quote used by Dan Inosanto and I have found nothing in Bruce’s own articles or interviews mentioning that quote or him using it. Also one quote does not necessarily define something. At best, jkd is a martial art that is guided with philosophy to keep it from becoming too fixed. If jkd is a philosophy then Bruce should have said that during the creation of jkd, or in this interview since half of it was on how he got into philosophy. but he made the distinction that jkd is not a philosophy but an art that adapts.
