Who needs to watch the unending stream of college football on New Year's Eve? It is possible to watch 15 hours of MMA programming this Thursday, and still get in a good nap and brunch.

It starts at 3 a.m. ET, with "Dynamite!!!" on HDNet, a combination Dream/Sengoku event. It's worth getting up early to see Olympic gold medalist Satoshi Ishii take on Hidehiko Yoshida, Melvin Manhoef and Kazuo Misaki, Akihiro Gono vs. Mach Sakurai, Kazuyuki Fujita and Alistair Overeem, and many more excellent fights. Overeem claims that he won't be fighting in the U.S. until spring of 2010, so you may want to catch him while you can. (If you don't want to get up, check back with Cagewriter.)

Dynamite is scheduled to end around 9 a.m. ET. You'll have enough time to eat a hearty meal and get in a few hours of sleep before waking up a to World Extreme Cagefighting marathon on Versus. Starting at 2 p.m. ET, Versus will re-air WEC 45: Cerrone vs. Ratcliff, WEC 44: Aldo vs. Brown, WEC 41: Brown vs. Faber II and then a special filled with WEC knockouts and "WEC: Best of 2009."

This will take you up to the time you'll be leaving for your New Year's Eve soiree. When you get home, flip on Versus again for WEC 39: Brown vs. Garcia, and watch more fighting as you drift off into your first sleep of 2010.
