Pak sao vs lap sao

I might have misspelled those but the way i understand them is pak sao is to "slap" or aggressively push. Where lap sao is grab on. Please enlighten me on this!

IME, "pak" is to slap; "lop" is to grab
 
Best shown. Because- good pak sao and lop sao assumes integrated body structure, proper elbow dynamics

Pak Sao is 'slap hand' and 'Lop Sao' is grab hand however, there is more to them than slapping and grabbing.
As Vajramusti has stated, "integrated body structure, proper elbow dynamics".

I love using pak Sao during chi Sao practice
For myself, Most of the time I only use lop Sao is when we are in a standing position and feel his force pushing forward
