Overfishing of the world's fisheries has been a growing problem for years now. Many of the world's fisheries, which often support poor populations, are in danger of collapse.

Now there is a new method for policing the fisheries proposed....

There are already rules about who can fish in US and Canadian territorial waters and they are routinely broken. Let us assume that this program gets insituted, what are they going to do, sink offending fishing boats? This problem is a nasty tangle of international relations and a tragedy of the commons. I bet on overfishing and a collapse of the northern fisheries.
