Here's one of several (seemingly overlooked) news articles regarding information about Operation Northwoods, a Pentagon project of the 1960's that, thankfully, was scrapped before it ever reached the heights of its potential lunacy.

I heard about Operation Mongoose, a proposed series of plans to politically sabotage Castro, but that operation was almost funny to hear about. This one's just plain scary.

There is a lot of disinformation out there. I don't know if we will ever wade through it. Northwoods is no laughing matter though. The bottom line is that our government was planning terrorist attacks against our own people. Here is a good follow up question...where are the people who planned this now? I seriously don't know, but I bet the answer might surprise a great many. Strange synchronicities have become commonplace it seems...
