Has anyone heard of the use of 'CR gas' (not CS)in the form of a self defense spray? Also has anyone heard of ammonia spray?
It has been described as being blindfolded and thrown onto a bed of nettles?

It's just another kind of "tear gas." Chemically similar to CS in some ways, IMS.

Ammonia? It's use as an incapacitating agent goes way back. There are better options now.

Honestly, just use Pepper Spray/OC. It's legal pretty much everywhere in the U.S. and even in about half of Europe (last time I looked). Not in England, of course. Nothing's legal in England.
