Hello all, my name is Ethan, I'm 17, and I live in Newfoundland. I'll start with my backstory.
I started TKD here in Gander when I was 6. Stayed with it for 6 years until our local school closed down. I was a red belt with a black stripe. (Not sure if stripes are a common practice in other schools). Whether I deserved that belt or not is questionable, IMO.
Fast forward a bit. Three or four months ago, a school opens here again. Myself and the rest of the old group sign up immediately, and that's my situation now.
My goal right now is to get myself to the level a red belt should be at. I am holding myself to a higher standard than I did before and my technique and physical fitness needs to come up a fair bit. Once I feel that I'm back where I should be I'll take my black belt test.
Anyway, you know me now and I look forward to learning all I can!
