I think it's great to have more/new Poomsae for competition.

Yet, Kukkiwon and WTF should be more transparent about the introduction of those. This is what Poomsae coaches have been complained about in the past. The first to learn about new stuff, changes, new key points and so on are the Koreans.

I can already see people performing 'Bigak' in the future and then people coming up with 'Original Bigak' on YouTube. ;-)
 
I'm torn. As much as I like to get better and practise more challenging kicks, the new forms to me highlight the actual ineffectiveness of some tkd kicks. I do like seeing more advanced kicks in forms (I think in the forms leading up to BB there should be more than a few turning kicks and there should be a back kick), but would have also liked to see more low kicks as well.
