New Bond movie - "Casino Royale" trailer

You're right he doesn't have the "classic" Bond handsome-ness as the previous actors. He's definitely more rugged looking, which might make for a better Bond. Just a wait and see thing. :D

Connery definitely set the tone/style of the licensed to kill - wise cracking - womanizing - saving the world - where did he get those wonderful toys agent.
George Lazenby ... who?

A lot of people liked Moore's portrayal but for some reason I didn't.

I did like Timothy Dalton's take on the character... but he didn't prove popular enough, probably couldn't do the funny wise-cracks well enough

As for Brosnan, I liked him as much as Connery. Wished that he started earlier.

We'll see how this guy does.

Either way... definitely got to be the longest running film series for sure.

Judith Dench does a fine "M" ... tough lady.

I don't know...I just don't know. I love the bond movies but to me, Pierce Bronan was one of the best. Guess I will have to wait and see if I think this guy has the Bond "it" factor.

Considering the review of Ian Fleming's Bond book Casino Royale, I think they picked a good character.

Considering the very very brief byline this is not the refined and sophisticated 007 we are used to. I think it might be pretty good.

I'm looking forward to this movie, I've been very disappointed in the last several installments. The last one I liked was Goldeneye and I did like Dalton in the role, particularly The Living Daylights. I think I've said this before, but the Bond in the books is a killer sometimes comes across as a gentleman, most of the recent movies portray it the other way around. I want a badass Bond back, and not one who has a Bat belt of gadgets to get out of trouble. Hopefully this one will fit the bill.
