need help with forearm/shin protectors - Too Tight

I mail ordered some addidas forearm protectors size XL but the straps are tight enough that i feel my circulation being cut off. Are there any alternative brands that have wider straps? I also fear getting the shin guards from the same maker would result in a similar problem. In addition to comfort any alternative brand must be suitable for tae kwon do sparring. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Kwon Shocklite are very big. I had the Large, and they were too long for me, with loads to spare. I have the medium now and they fit. I am quite slim, but the large would have fitted a gorilla!

We're all different, so I suggest measuring with a cloth tape and contacting the seller or maker for sizing advice. I don't think there's any industry standard for this kind of thing.
