I bought a SOG Kukri at a knife outlet for around $30. My wife and I do a lot of camping/hiking and are also "trail adopters" for a local section of the North Country Trail. It comes in handy and at a price that you aren't afraid to use it.

I agree with FC, some people pay way too much for a knife that they never use because of the cost.
