After these many years, the following are my favor breakfast that I would like to share here.

- 2 sandwiches, stone ground whole wheat bread + cheese + smoked salmon,
- 1 small cucumber,
- 2 radish,
- 4 small tomato,
- hot green tea,
- 6 pieces of astragalus root + 20 goji berries + 6 dried jujubes + hot water.

The goji berries + dried jujubes + hot water was suggested by my long fist teacher who is 93 years old today. I add in astragalus root to reduce eye pressure.

Man, you are way more systematic than I am. I gotta have breakfast, but love a variety. Most mornings, I just grab a bowl of cereal (often something simple, with nuts and currants added). Or I might have some eggs and whatever's available with them. Or maybe some yogurt. On big days, maybe some of all of that.

Or cold pizza. Or pumpkin bread. I'm good with Buka's pasta breakfast, too. I might eat that cold, too, if it's hot out.

I'll normally eat a granola bar. Or some bread. Maybe a handful of oats instead. Maybe some blueberries or a banana.

Today, I ate a tortilla wrap, and some macaroni salad. Clearly I put a lot of thought into breakfast.

Breakfast is every bit my favorite meal of the day. It's also the most important one... breakfast gets you up and prepares you for your day. lunch is irrelevant and people only eat dinner as a means of fueling themselves until breakfast.

Scrambled eggs and a pancake if I feel like cooking

Honey bunches of oats cereal and milk if I dont.

ALWAYS. With a glass of fruit juice. Usually lemonade.

I'm looking for some new ideas for my favorite breakfast. I usually go for the classic options, but I'd love to try something different and exciting. What are your go-to breakfast dishes? Any unique recipes or combinations you'd recommend?

If you're looking for something different and exciting for breakfast, I'd recommend trying a savory breakfast bowl. Start with a base of quinoa or sweet potatoes, add some sautéed spinach or kale, top with a poached egg, and sprinkle with feta cheese and a drizzle of hot sauce. It's a delicious and hearty option that will keep you satisfied throughout the morning.

I recently read an interesting article about the best breakfast spots in Sacramento, which might give you some inspiration as well. One of the highlights was a place that serves a breakfast burrito stuffed with scrambled eggs, chorizo, avocado, and a unique cilantro-lime crema. This kind of creative combination could be something fun to replicate at home. If you want to check out more about these awesome breakfast ideas, you can find it in this link.

I’ve had a bowl of beef stew and a hunk of bread for breakfast the last three mornings.

With coffee.

That's the good thing about stew. Make it once, eat for a week. Plus, you can toss almost any meat and veggies into it. Stew is like a kata with many bunkai. OK, maybe I'm taking MA metaphors too far.

If I want something tasty, I can eat many things for breakfast but if often makes my hungry fast but for more the a simple quick and very functional breakfast perfect for when you are too tired is

- good portion of oatmeal porridge (2mins in the microwave oaotmeal/water) with raw stir-fried lingonberries (no milk)
- a glass of apple juice
- strong coffee

This keeps my energetic far beyond lunchtime. Sounds boring I admit, but very functional, and the sweetened lingonberries taste very good

I'm so glad you included this picture. When I first read your post I thought your faorite breakfast was this:

1721768976240.png

Bowl of grapenuts flakes and half a cup of dark roast coffee.

Lunch is half a turkey and provolone sandwich on multigrain bread and two packets of chips.

Dinner is whatever.

While in Beijing, my favorite breakfast was and still would be if I cold get it here

Jianbing, Baozi, Congee, steamed corn and steamed squash....

Pretty similar to my diet ...not a lot of calories either, so why am I still fat?
Loosing weight is slow, if you loose weight very fast, it's likely just loosing water.

But that said, potatoe chips for "food" is an american thing I think. In most of europe it's not really considered "proper food" but more like "snacks". It's usually very high in fat as I assume you mean oil-fried chips. There is probably something better that fried chips to get?

Keeping dinner undefined to whatever is something that is suspicious.

To speak for myself, the change i made for the last few years (except doing a bit more excercise due to karate), I get more for breakfast, but slower food like rolled oats. In that past I had too little food for breakfast, and I think it screws up metabolic rate for th rest of the day, and in the past I finished with a huge dinner. (like oversized portions) - bad combo!

I avoid that now, dinner should be sparse. Eating a solid breakfast with long lasting energy (no quick carbs).

I lost about 13 pounds in two years from this change + karate training. I consider that good, not fast, but it's a real stable loss, not just water loss, I noticed also as my waist has stepped down one size (and indidently it was also where most of hte excess was always located).
