When I took wing chun, the Sifu often played music like Creedence Clearwater Revival and the like. Sometimes he would play a drum with the kind of drum you use with your hands, he was very good at it. I liked it, kind of picked your energy up, encouraged you to keep up with the music.

At the Inosanto Academy Guro Dan would play the drums for the FMA class.

The drums are great to listen to while training with sticks, knives, empty hands.

The Dog Brothers DVDs have great drum music.

Suzanne Luna Spezzano's Silat DVD also has great drums.

Ha ha! The opening refrain of this song never fails to lift my spirits and makes me feel so happy! I think it came out at a time when MA were exciting, exotic and intriguing, plus there’s his Top of the Pops performance with the most camp dancers I’ve ever seen! Love it!
