What do you think about children, who are going in for muay thai?
Best age to start? What about full contact competitions?
My kid is 8 years old, he is passion in this sport since he was 6... Couple times champion on regional competitions, 3-rd place on national level in 2017...
He even started his channel on youtube: Muay Thai Kids Channel.
Totally crazy with this sport - trainings 6 times a week.

Training at 6 is okay fighting at 6 is frankly disgusting in my opinon. It's just totally wrong. There's enough risk for fully grown adults doing it let alone kids. Also adults know they want to do it kids don't know if they want to or not

Read it again I said training is fine but fighting is disgusting and yes I have I've been doing it for 3 years and have had 4 fights won 3 drew 1

Kids should absolutely not be fighting. In my eyes no one should get in the ring and fight until they're at least 16
