A few cell phone photos only from this trek. Last week the New England Blizzard brought 36 inches of powder. My friends and I were quite exhausted.

While we got some additional snow last night, today's trek was much easier than above photos, which was last week trek at Grand Monadnock. The fresh snow was wet, and packed down easily. There were more than just the three of us, and we were up in the Moose Mountains, which offered more of a gentle challenge.

Can you spot the moose? And the cup?

We weren't breaking trail here, as this section is shared by snowmobiles as well.
The snowmobiles to a great job of packing down the trail.
The snowmobiler's fees go a long way to keep all the trails open for everyone.
