I was always taught to refrain from talking about religion and politics outside of a private or topic specific environment. Keeps everyone a little more civil.

Such statements are made usually to shield the indefensible.

Anyway, things look pretty civil here and not of a religious/political nature to me and we have excellent moderators should things stray.
