I (probably including the Hobbit) would attend anything that fits my schedule and budget. That Tennessee/Kentucky thing would be close enough to easily drive. My travel schedule, my trips to help care for my mom, etc. make it hard for me to predict what would fit my schedule.

We have two EXTREMELY non-feral kitties. They are about as domestic as it gets. They are mostly self-sufficient but they do get lonely.

Over in the UK they have organized an annual WC gathering they refer to as "Chunfest" I think. hahaha. Cool idea and apparently it is becoming quite popular.
