Kyle Pearce, United Airlines Passenger, Single-Handedly Joins Mile High Club, Is Arrested

Kyle Pearce of Florida was flying from Spokane to Denver on May 19, when he shocked fellow passengers by masturbating in his coach-class United Airlines seat, according to an FBI affidavit filed in Denver on May 20, The Smoking Gun reports.

He was, not surprisingly, arrested when United flight 340 touched down in Denver. Pearce was charged with "obscene and indecent exposure of his person by exhibiting his penis and masturbating in plain view."

There is a documentary being broadcast soon about American prisons where exactly that was happening. Some of the production staff were of course women and the chaps inside don't get to see the opposite sex very often. Apparently, this being one of those facts that I could have quite happily lived without learning, it's called "Gunning".

Am I the only one who's surprised to not hear about guys watching porn on a plane? I mean, with the portability of video these days, I'm just waiting to hear about someone watching porn on his phone, ipad, laptop or something. I'm sure it's happened, but I'm a little surprised that it's not made the news (that I'm aware of.)

I mean, with the portability of video these days, I'm just waiting to hear about someone watching porn on his phone, ipad, laptop or something. I'm sure it's happened, but I'm a little surprised that it's not made the news (that I'm aware of.)

And here I was feeling uncomfortable (and looking around occasionally to make sure there were no inappropriate viewers in sight) watching episodes of "Boardwalk Empire" on a plane (for those unfamiliar, not at all porn, but a great HBO show that features occasional risque scenes including some nudity).
