), but at the risk of redundancy with some previous post I may have missed, wanted to note that the inimitable Adriano Emperado has been chosen by Inside Kung-Fu magazine as its Instructor of the Year. The write up can be found in the Feb issue.
Whatever lineage chart we use, it seems clear to me that not only Kajukenbo but also my own practice of Shaolin Kempo are directly descended from GGM Emperado. So it's with gratitude and humility that I, and I know many others, offer congratulations to a living legend in the martial arts.
