Greetings. Its been years since Ive been on this forum, nice to be back. Been dabbling in various MA's for about 10 years now. Most recent was sort of a hybrid of MMA/ SD in a friends garage. Havent trained in about 15 months due to an injury, and will hopefully be back into it within the next month.
I know this is a KM forum, but see a few other KAPAP posts so I assume Im not stepping on any toes by posting this here?
Anyways: Looking to get back into training and Ive discovered theres a KAPAP instructor very close to me. I see that he's even on the main website, so I know he's not just blowing smoke. However, my concern from looking on the web site is that it appears anyone can get certified in just a few days with a large amount of cash.
Does anyone know more about this? Is any amount of actual training required outside of the few days of instructor training? Could I have never trained anything in my whole life and just show up for a long weekend, and walk out certified?
My hope is this isnt the case, but looking for more insight.
Thanks!
