It’s a worry in Europe where country’s are lurching to the far right. There’s a far right government on Austria for the first time since WWII and ‘he who shall not be mentioned’. Italy has a far right premier, too. Even the liberal Netherlands is flirting with the far right!

The U.K., on the other hand, has lurched to the left but mainly because the previous rightwing government were privileged and mired in scandal. Mind you, our new government has become mired in scandal too, after only a few weeks.

To be fair though, 6 grand wouldn't have paid for Boris' hairspray.

As someone who pulled up to an intersection of a small town with the local police following me. An the State police on left and the county police on the right. I waved at both officers who had the right away to go. They both waved for me to go.
I sat there until the state cop hit his lights. So I pulled up and over. They all pulled out and sat behind me. They did not get out of their vehicle.
So after a few minutes I continued on my way. hey all followed me until I left the county.

If you claim that police departments are not infested with people in white supremacists hate groups then you're either naïve or you have a vested interest in people not knowing that.

The police are a self-selecting group of people who wish to do their civic duty and serve all in their community. They are then subject to rigorous external selection processes including interviews (in which they never lie), aptitude tests like eating six donuts without licking their lips and correctly pronouncing names such as ‘Cletus’, ‘Zeke’ and ‘Bubba’. Then they go out and hug people of colour, non-Christian religions and people who read books “…which ain’t the Bible or stories ‘bout stuff and nonsense…’. Remember, this selection process is overseen by similarly minded senior police officers, democratically selected mayors, county representatives, state governers and ultimately the President of the USA.

How could Nazi/KKK members infiltrate that noble institution?
