Iranian Judo Contreversy

Unfortunately, the Olympics is not immune from the politics that rules the rest of the world. If it were, the Israeli athletes from 1972 would still be alive. Something tells me the Iranian judoka was more than a little "convinced" by the Iranian authorities that he should refuse to compete. The story about being overweight was just a good excuse. Imagine if he had competed against the Israeli and lost.
