Info on Happou Taijutsu

You're probably thinking of the Kihon Happo(u). This is a foundational set of three striking forms(Koshi Kihon Sanpo) and five grappling forms(Torite Kihon Goho) taught early on in budo taijutsu.

Or maybe Happou Bikenjutsu, or Happou geri.

Happou shows up a lot in Japanese martial arts, especially in the names of the Bujinkan. Heck, even standard Japanese uses the term a lot in expressions like Happou Bijin and Shihou Happou.

Thanks for the reply. Just curious about this school out where I am. Me being a American Kenpo guy, wasn't sure about its history.

Thanks again,
Bill Smith

Does anyone know of this of this system/art? I'm trying to better understand the art.

Thanks,

As others have indicated, it could be any number of things. It might help if you could tell us a bit about what the school presents itself as being and how they describe what they're doing.
