Brad Ferro is famous for all the wrong reasons. Bar fights and punches are a rite of passage each summer at the Jersey Shore but when you land a picture perfect right cross on something that's 4-foot-9, calling itself "Snooki", you're labeled a jackass for life.

Ferro, a gym teacher at New York's North Queens Community H.S., was arrested at the Beachcomber Bar & Grill in Seaside Heights in August for punching Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. Ferro, 24 was found guilty of simple assault, given six months probation and fined $500.

TMZ, digging for every story it can get around MTV's new show "Jersey Shore," has apparently unearthed a fight video involving this Ferro character. Looks like someone slightly heavier than Snooki tested Ferro's chin. He failed.

MTV taking a ton of abuse over the show, has now cowered to several advocacy groups. Frankly, the outrage is ridiculous. The network isn't going to air the Snooki punch. There's no word on whether they'll edit out all the females punching males on the show (Sammi Giancola lands a wicked spinning backfist).

Next up, are they going to edit out all Italian-American references and all images of New Jersey? A blank screen with only audio featuring thick New York, Rhode Island and New Jersey accents should be a ratings bonanza. Let's ruin the show completely because of some whiny losers and phony moralists who have too much time on their hands.

Please send all complaints to Steve "Schnozzie" Cofield, a Jersey Shore-native and half Italian-American at [email protected] or twitter.com/stevecofield.
