Go find a good gym!

It depends on what you are looking for. A good gym with a good kru is your best bet. If you are looking for the older styles (muay boran) get ready to travel. Books on muay thai can help with some things but you definitely need an instructor to clarify. What exactly are you wanting to know/learn?
