Every culture boxes and grapples, pretty much always has. I'm not a chinese MA specialist but wasn't the Shaolin temple in China not Japan. It would take way too long to get into the Kali thing, besides its been done here before with unpleasent results. Capoeira came with the slaves from Angola, it wasn't founded in Brazil.
