I'm curious.

I would think that "traditional pirate martial arts" in most of the world were simply traditional naval military tactics, strategies, and techniques. After all, often the line between piracy and governmentally sanctioned disruption of shipping was merely a letter of marquee...

How are traditional pirate arts different from other traditional Western martial arts? (By the way, your link seems not to be working.)
