Tez, the next time I am in the UK I will definitely try to check that out. While I am almost completely focussed on modern olympic style fencing, the origins of it, and weaponry in general has always been a fascination of mine.

Exile and all the others, thanks very much for the warm welcome; it's great to have such an accepting community outside of the fencing world (which, aside from a few jerks, tends to be a great bunch of people as well.)

The Bay Area is awesome. Love the mix of cultures there. Wonderful food from all over the world. Enjoy your stay here at MT. As for finding a MA near you try Craigslist or your local college club. Some places teach for free or at very low cost.
