I met him briefly and chatted a number of years ago, probably more than 15 and could be close to 20, on the archery range in Golden Gate Park. It seems we have an interest in common. I doubt he would remember me, I can’t say that I know him.
Some time after that, I bought a used bow from the archery shop in the Outer Richmond neighborhood, near the archery range. Dino had traded that bow in for some other archery gear, it might have been a whole bunch of arrows. I remember he was talking about wanting to get a very specific type of Asian bow, but I don’t remember the specifics. It’s my favorite bow, a short little Grozer Hungarian recurve horse bow. I was told its draw weighs at 50 pounds, but my own weighing puts it somewhat higher, maybe 60.

I thought Chan Tai San is Lama Pai? Is there a CLF line through him as well?
Yep ... CTS was known for both and other things too boot. He learned from Chan Sai Mo as well as a "village" version of CLF at the Clear Cloud temple where he grew up.
