As many of you know here, I'm a former United States Marine. I know that there are others here who are either current duty or are former Devil Dogs like me. So to all of you I say..... Marines are a very loyal bunch.

There's no real significance to the number other than it's one more than last year. Yes, Marines are indeed a loyal bunch. That's one of the reasons you'll never hear of an ex-marine...it's always a former-Marine. The comraderie of the Corps is something that tends to stick with you long after you are no longer an active duty Marine.
