ok..who do you think is the greatest quarterback of all time?

I think the greatest is Roger Staubach. He didn't always have a great team or great players yet he always seemed to win. Your team could be up by 14 points in the 4th quater and you were'nt always sure you would win. And I hated him for that. I was definitely not a Roger Staubach fan when he was playing, but I definitely respect him for how he played.

Second, I would pick Elway. He too, didn't always have the best team, yet he could pull it out in the end and win.

I don't Montana was the greatest because he had great coaches and great teams. He had skills and that will to win, but if he didn't have the teams that he did, I don't think he would win as often.

Please, sportsfans, I do think that one of the top QBs has to be Joe Montana. Although there were so many great ones, it really would be an injustice to try and name just one. Anyway, Joe from Notre Dame was always a sure winner in Clutch Time. He consistantly came through, and he has the Bling Bling to show for it... :asian:

*shrug...Terry Bradshaw has 4 SB rings right?...I could in no way put him up there as one the greatest.

My vote would have to go with Joe Montana as well. Just ask the Bengals.

Yup, that's what I'm talkin' about! Montana and the 49er offense coming at you in Clutch Time! Tony...err...Joe Montana pretty much always stepped up and took care of business.

Say hello to my little friend...:uzi:

Gotta go with you on this one. Staubach would call his own plays, and to think, how often was he wrong? I'm not so sure the others could , or would do that! That's how good Roger was.

You're also right about the other ones. They had a deep, supporting cast, where the Cowboys were somewhat limited at times. Besides, Roger could make things happen on his own. Like you said, you could be ahead, and Roger would catch, and beat you.

And also don't forget Brett Favre, he's always had the Cojones to step up and get the job done. And he does have a Super Bowl Champion ring... :asian:

And after what has taken place the last two weeks, that has become even more evident.

Brett Favre

- 3 time MVP
- His starting streak
- His passing touchdowns total
- The list goes on and on, and the only negative thing I can think of would be his tendency to throw interceptions, but that is because he is not afraid to take a chance.

John Elway

He always won with the least talent, he won in spite of Dan Reeves, not because of Reeves. Always promised he'd get a top running back or a wide reciever to throw to, and always left with back ups and washed outs. When a good offensive mind came along, drafted a decent running back you saw the results, back to back superbowls.

Oh yeah, who holds the record for most come from behind wins - to me that's being clutch.

:p

Phil Simms.....cuz I'm a Giants fan

All around.....Brett Favre

And the list goes on...
