Why isn't FMA as prevalant in Canada as it is in the U.S?

What can one attribute this to? Immigration to the US? US vs Canadian culture? I do not mean for this to be offensive in any way however if it does offend anyone, I sincerely apologize. I really noticed this when I was looking for a Pekiti Tirsia school in Toronto and but fortunately came accross Guro Jun De Leon.
