I do Pekiti Tirsia and when I look at something like Cabales serrada escrima it is like looking at a style that has nothing whatsoever to do with what we do. Not a negative comment, just so different in weapon, weapon length, range, strategy and tactics, technique and everything.
So I am wondering about how you would make a martial art that put together the techniques based on the ranges... Does it all go together or does it feel more like becoming a different fighter based on the range?
