Projectile Throwing in FMA

Are there any small throwing projectiles, along the lines of Shuriken/Shaken used in any FMA systems? Something like throwing spikes, stars, shanks, small knifes, or coins. The catch is I'm looking for something that is indiginous to the Philipines historiclly. Along the lines of the Chinese throwing darts and coins or Japanese Shuriken. I was reading a discussion on another forum and now I'm curious if these existed in the Philipines.
