new iberia sol baston recontras seminar report

this weekend i was able to attend the seminar in new iberia with tuhon guro bill mcgrath.
this was my first seminar so i was nervous to say the least.
we started with warm ups led by matass na guro scott faulk .
tuhon started with the harder stuff on saturday while we were still fresh and saved the easier stuff for sunday .(great call )
tuhon would show us the moves and then he , scott faulk and sifu danny would go around and help us.
it was great having so much help .
the pace of the seminar was just right as i was able to keep up and
tuhons humor helped keep us laughing as we worked out .
after the class on saturday two people tested for advancement -solo baston abcediaro and pekit kick boxing and tempering .
we started again on sunday with mattass na guro scott faulk helping us stretch and get loose
sifu danny was able to point out the fine details that made each technique work to its full potental
i was able to buy dvd's on basic footwork , solo baston contradas and solo baston recontras
one of the guys in the class introduced us to a new term BWV'S -butt whipping vacations
im glad i had today off .
it was a great seminar looking forward to the pti summer camp .
