Many had practiced Martial Arts as a Physical conditioning or self-defense or as a means to claim a Master and collect money with false teachings. It has been noted that several claim Masters ,Punong Guro of several styles are running out of teaching materials. After observing that the attendess in the seminar conducted by this claim Masters, the claim Master changes the teachings introducing to Dumog saying it is filipino which actually using the Aikido and combine with Juijitsui, to divert the subject of the FMA into something else. Some had noticed that this teachings is out of the context of the true FMA unfavorably left the seminar place not finishing the time for two days.FMA is so exploited and so cheapened by false presentations specially those gatherers who attended seminars and put into their manufactured style claiming their own. EVen in Pekiti-Tirsia, pirating the Pekiti-Tirsia materials claiming a family system of their own family and founded in some years which is clear in the previous record , videos, events that they belong to Pekiti-Tirsia. It is an act of fooling people and those who are fooled they are happy to claim that they belong to such magical system.

The blade culture is a technology itself. It is not like the empty hands that you can smuggle from karate, Silat, Jet Kundo, Juijitsui, Judo, and others and call it some names. You can have a mistake in punching and in kicking but in the blade culture to practice without technology, it is a game that you will never do it anymore.Because in that time , the blade can cut in a right flesh in a wrong way.

In this forum, FMA again is not punch and kicks, it is not the rattan sticks , it is not the headgear and body armour, it is not the blocking and disarming, it is not the dance but true FMA is the truth about the Blade culture, if the blade is sharp, it must follow to who ever teaches the FMA that his teachings must be sharper as the blade , his teachings must speak the truth of sharpeness not a lie that makes the blade dull as his tongue." You can fool people once but you cannot fool them all the time" this good sayings are true even in the FMA.

It affects to any one that profess the teachings of the FMA. Any false teachings disgrace the essence of the true culture. A mistake of one teaching is a mistake of all. Many years ago , one of the few Filipino Masters was selling a blackbelt in Arnis for $ 200.00 on a two days seminar in New York City. I was confronted by the few who got the blackbelt asking me why the FMA is cheap and why for a short seminar they can buy $ 200.00 blackbelt. So I responded will if you think you deserve to have one then be happy about it.This mistake is a mistake of all. One FMA selling blackbelt is not only a mistake but a blunder that affects the FMA image.

Before that was Blackbelt now Instructors certificate. One of the Pekiti-Tirsia guy in New Mexico was offered to attend a camp so he can get a full title as Instructor of the Style. But he refused.

This is an on going how to have the grandeur of being an Instructor for one week and goes with it , an instructor both Arnis-escrima and silat. I am not surprise to see someone hangs in his wall Master of Kali and a Pendekar of silat.

The blade culture is the barometer of a true FMA, any false teachings will end bleeding, any blackbelts will turn redbelts.

FMA is first blood, first memory ,first ability to underst a combative life.

Ignorance of the blade culture excuses no one.
