Do you prefer stick or blade?

In my town we've got some great FMA groups--Torres DTE, Serrada, Decuerdas, Ilustrisimo, Latosa Concepts, Balintawak, Bahala-na...just to name a few. They all seem to cover stick, blade and empty hands. Still most seem to hold the blade arts in highest esteem. I don't know what's wrong with me, but the thought of really carving somebody up with a knife gives me the creeps. I would rather beat someone with a stick any day. Of course, really bludgeoning someone into a pulp is pretty gross too. How about the rest of you? Do you prefer stick or blade?
