Unfortunatley, by that time he was walking with no ligaments in his knees, and would soon be in a wheel chair, so my fma training was with a family friend instead. I would practice with my grandfather watching at times... and he gave me a lot of advice in different areas, but the bit that stuck the most was when he said: "make small boy". three words that made a world of difference when he stood holding himself up with his wheelchair in one hand, and quickly knocking the stick from my hand. "Make small boy" like this...
For those that understand the concept of "make small boy" I think you agree...

Any one else have any similar bits of advice?
